The Time Person of the Year article I thought was very interesting. It outlined many of the great and exciting things about Web 2.0. It outlined many of the advantages to using such tools as blogging, making a YouTube video, or even chatting with people from all over the world. These are the same types of things that were outlined in the article I read about Web 2.0. In my article, the author described all the ways businesses and companies can use this new technology to learn exactly what their customers and employees want. Also, businesses can use blogging sights to set up company forums or a place where any of their employees can post a problem they are having or one they want fixed. This is a useful tool for bosses because it gives them another way to make sure all of their employees are happy and this leads to better work from the employees. I personally think Web 2.0 is only an alright thing. I like it for all the videos, such as from YouTube, and information available, but I have a real problem with it as well. I don't like the fact that anyone can access many of the files and find out anything about you. Also, I don't like that everything is stored on the Internet. Information is never lost on the Internet. It is stored somewhere and can usually be found if you are determined enough. This is why I don't participate in MySpace and have recently gotten rid of Facebook. I don't believe in anything that personal being available for everyone. Frankly, I don't enjoy having this blog, but since it is part of the class I can deal with it. Web 2.0 is a great idea and it will be a great thing for many different reasons, but I don't think it will be great for all the interaction amongst people.

Using Microsoft Word
I have used Microsoft Word since I was probably about 5 years old. I have mainly used it throughout my life to type papers, but occasionally I have had to make tables or flyers. I am pretty acquainted with many of the Word features, so I really enjoy the new version of Microsoft Word. I think that it is much more efficient and it makes tools and other functions much easier to find. The only thing I really would like to review is how to make tables and graphs.
