I would advise that you do all the homework and don't get behind.

Favorite Web Pages
My favorite websites are Patrick's, Daniela's and Miti's. Patrick's website is very simple and nice. It is easy to navigate and has some interesting pictures. Also, it has good information about his life. Daniela's website is also very good and I really though the page on Taiwan was interesting. Miti's website looks like she worked very hard on it and it is well done. I think all the pictures are good.
My favorite stumpers are Spencer's, Katie's and Whitney's. I thought all three gave tough locations and did a good job of making the picture pretty good as well. I thought alot of the stumpers were really good, but these three were my favorites.

Stumper
I have also designed a webpage that involves a stumper picture. I think it is fairly easy, but see if you can figure it out.

Power Point
I enjoyed all the presentations and I thought that all of them were pretty bad and funny. The three that I enjoyed the most were Spencer's, Miti's and Pat's. All three of these I thought were pretty clever and displayed good techniques of showing you exactly what not to do. Just as a little reminder here is a list of things to do and not to do on a power point:
Things to do:
1. Make sure there is a clear topic and that you stick to that topic.
2. Always have a good flow to your presentation, so it doesn't become boring.
3. Add pictures and sounds that add to your presentation and make it more interesting and entertaining.
4. Use animations where appropriate.
Things not to do:
1. Don't use many different types of fonts and colors, and make sure it is readable.
2. Never type out everything you want to say. Make your points in bullet form and expand on them while giving the presentation.
3. Don't add too many pictures, because it will make the slide too distracting and your point won't be reached.
4. Don't have your slides out of order.
So here is a great power point presentation that will really impress anyone of any educational background.

Internet Pictures
When searching for a picture, everyone should make sure they don't end up infringing on copyright laws. To make sure you don't violate these laws, one should always try to use pictures from websites that offer free pictures. Another thing one can do is after putting the picture on your webpage, make sure to cite the website where it was originally located. One thing that is nice is that if the picture is for academic use, it is not necessary to cite the picture because it is clear that it is not being used for a profit or gain. Lastly, if you ever have any questions or are worried that a copy right law may be being broken, then cite it just in case.

Web 2.0
The Time Person of the Year article I thought was very interesting. It outlined many of the great and exciting things about Web 2.0. It outlined many of the advantages to using such tools as blogging, making a YouTube video, or even chatting with people from all over the world. These are the same types of things that were outlined in the article I read about Web 2.0. In my article, the author described all the ways businesses and companies can use this new technology to learn exactly what their customers and employees want. Also, businesses can use blogging sights to set up company forums or a place where any of their employees can post a problem they are having or one they want fixed. This is a useful tool for bosses because it gives them another way to make sure all of their employees are happy and this leads to better work from the employees. I personally think Web 2.0 is only an alright thing. I like it for all the videos, such as from YouTube, and information available, but I have a real problem with it as well. I don't like the fact that anyone can access many of the files and find out anything about you. Also, I don't like that everything is stored on the Internet. Information is never lost on the Internet. It is stored somewhere and can usually be found if you are determined enough. This is why I don't participate in MySpace and have recently gotten rid of Facebook. I don't believe in anything that personal being available for everyone. Frankly, I don't enjoy having this blog, but since it is part of the class I can deal with it. Web 2.0 is a great idea and it will be a great thing for many different reasons, but I don't think it will be great for all the interaction amongst people.

Using Microsoft Word
I have used Microsoft Word since I was probably about 5 years old. I have mainly used it throughout my life to type papers, but occasionally I have had to make tables or flyers. I am pretty acquainted with many of the Word features, so I really enjoy the new version of Microsoft Word. I think that it is much more efficient and it makes tools and other functions much easier to find. The only thing I really would like to review is how to make tables and graphs.

Introduction
Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Bart and I am from San Antonio. I came to Trinity University as a transfer student from Concordia University at Austin. I enjoy playing sports, listening to music and hanging out with my friends. I love living in San Antonio because I love the Spurs and Mexican food. I have developed some computer skills over the years from teaching myself and from being forced to take classes like this one.
